I’m glad to see that they’re being fairly paid for the work.
I honestly sighed in relief when I saw it was $15 an hour. Good on San Jose.
They’re not doing anything special by paying them $15, that’s minimum wage in San Jose and it will maybe keep them fed enough to stay alive but it would take them a very long time to change their situation or move assuming they are lucky enough to be in a shelter long enough to save.
